Thomas Jefferson University traces its roots to the Medical College of Jefferson College inward Canonsburg, PA that was founded inward 1824. Jefferson Medical College was located inward Philadelphia together with formally adopted the get upwards inward 1838. With the add-on of other programs over time, the establishment changed its get upwards to instruct Thomas Jefferson University inward 1969.
Philadelphia University was founded inward 1884 as Philadelphia Textile School. The get upwards changed to Philadelphia Textile Institute inward 1941 together with to Philadelphia College of Textiles together with Science inward 1970's. Then it became Philadelphia University inward 1999.
